She weeps in the darkness of his closet
He sleeps in a bed of comfort and relentless deceit
Though her soul has been rescued by Heaven's hands
She watches and weeps in the darkness of his closet
Though the wretched pain seizes her joy, she cries his name at dawn

He puts up a fight to ignore the guilt
For he stole her innocence-
He destroyed her very being

Now her cries and memories will haunt him beyond the grave
