November
It’s the color of the leaves
No flowers or bees
It’s the crisp air
Having no more lemonade to share
Snow is beginning to fall
Christmas sales starting at the mall
Relatives coming to town
Old decorations are being found
It’s the recipes your mother makes
It’s the pie, cookies, and cakes
Then that wonderful treat
Everyone will eat and eat and eat
The turkey is moist
The potatoes are choice
Leftovers for the rest of the year
Then November is over, it’s time for Christmas cheer.
