As we get colder
I understand the decisions I make.
They may not be
thought out completely
but I live without
regret.
The clock pushes another second,
click,
the air around it rushes out of the way.
Another second wasted,
(saved,)
used to move me toward nothing
(physical). I wish for purpose,
not for myself for expectations.
I must do something now as
the ease of youth is brutally torn from my heart.
Society is cold and beautiful.
I can't stop staring
at her, but I know if I
don't do something for her
she will leave me behind in a
heartbeat.
