nations rise, and only to fall
kings live, but they will die
the sun rises, and soon it sets
but our love will the test of time
friends come, and then they go
and families fade away
and when these memories are lost to time
this feeling will live on
this world is not long,
everything has its end,
and though this dream is falling around us,
what we have will see us through
there's hope for tomorrow,
a promise for today,
that somehow, it'll be alright
with you, i'll be ok
