severed is my hand, which once used to write,
broken is my core, beyond repair,
withdrawn is my essence, for all to see,
empty is my soul, filled with despair.

gone are my loved ones, long ago,
fading are my memories, at quickened pace,
dead is the inspiration, that drove me so,
dried are the tears, crawling down mine face.

wilted are my petals, i was too far from the sun,
snapped is my stem, into two,
emancipated are my leaves, dancing in the wind,
poisoned were my roots, whilst waiting for you.

choked is my chirp, my heart's elation,
stripped are my feathers, i'm naked and bare,
torn are my wings, messengers of the sky,
murdered is my heart, by the icy blade of despair
