"Blades"
The glistening morning dew decorated
the small blade of grass, microscopic, unimportant
Among the others
Insignificant
The morning rain brings life
But those months without rain brings sorrow
Weakness
But it holds tight
That rain, when given, is rejuvenating
It brings new
Life
Respect
Love
Without that rain it could not survive
The will would drain
The rotating blade cuts them down
No matter how short they are cut
The roots stay strong
They will grow once again
Over Time
And once again become whole
They are moved with the wind
Gracefully synchronized
They are all stepped on and cut
But they only die when those roots are
Ripped
from the ground
So those roots need to
Stay
Strong
Their motivation is what keeps their life
Flowing
Those blades
Survive
