RIPPLES
Pitter patter is what I hear
The sweet voice of rain so clear
It reminds me of my mother
The dripping pushing me further
Away into this dreamland
Placing me in her warm hands
In this land is only drizzling
No storms no lightning
The only thing that remains
Is the sweet scent of earth after rain
The soft pitter patter lulls me to sleep
Away from the sadness that makes me weep

Ripples is all bout nostalgia... The need to escape in your mother's arms after world breaks you down.
This a second attempt on writing poetry on a same topic after a full year(maybe not full year but a few months before 2024??)
And I'm amazed as to how much I've grown.
The journey is still long ... I have so much space to improve 🙃🙃🙃
