Just Another Day
Sitting in a classroom
Sometimes empty, sometimes full, sometimes only a few
I’ve seen many over time
Hour after hour a new person
None at night, always at day
Sometimes they stay for a year, sometimes they’re gone long before
I often never see them again
There I sit, and here they sit
Sometimes I help them rest and sleep, though not very comfortable
Sometimes turned into a canvas from boredom
Being a desk is both good and bad, but don’t I really have a choice
