the ocean
I love the smell of the salty air,
The crisp morning, fresh everywhere
The breeze in my hair, makes everything alright
The wind looks like a sweeping broom
Because when i'm at the beach, i never have a single fright
The humidity and the salty waves, so cold in the ocean
Up above the warm sun shines down
Making my sunburn bright pink and red
The shore is natures dance floor
Nothing else matters except the ocean right now
the warm beach
With colorful tan and brown sand
Its as gentle as a lamb
Burning my toes and I run
I tun into the water, careful i dont trip.
I step in, the water as cold as ice
The world around me feels surreal
Like one big dream
Life as it seems can no longer be
Real, or so it seem
Waves, always tickling my feet
I see people in there teenage years
A small crowd Playing volleyball, the net
Sliding and diving the smiles
Oh the smiles, they make the sun look dull
Reading i see, reading on the beach
A woman in her 20s sunglasses in a hut
She looks so calm and carefree
Reading while sunbathing makes you well-red
