Let my judgment be clouded
My emotions a hyperbole
And let my wary heart be the guide for tonight
The line between a sweet fantasy and my bitter reality lies delicately over my eyes
Just enough to see your lies
Blinded by the boundary that got lost over time
So, tell me it's not true
Tell me it's a bad dream and hold me until I fall back asleep
Let your gentle touch dissipate the brutal factuality that is life
And wake me when we are in a fantasy of mine
