The bracelet
The bracelet
The purple teal and black bracelet
Around my right wrist
As it has been for the past year
“I’ll wear it forever I won't take it off”
I said, unknowingly how much it
Would mean to me in the coming months
Whenever I look or feel for it, I think
Of the countless summers together
The echoing of our laughter in the yard,
The summer nights spent in the basement
Watching countless horror movies
Not having a worry about what the future holds
The Bracelet brings that highlight back
The happiness we once shared
The bracelet
