falling glitter
in to the world
its so shiny
let me play
the world glitters & sparkles
and so do i
let me get my hands all dirty
not a care in the world
everything is new
i just learned to ride a bike
but the years go on
my eyes perceive the world
i look in my reflection
all the glitter slowly starts to fade
my eyes perceive a world; its dull & blank
now the glitter only shines sometimes
peeking though covertly every now and then
but when i want it to stay
the glitter goes away
