The squeal of sneakers
The pounding of feet
The sounds on the court
Oh just so sweet
The sounds of the ball bouncing on the court
Can't forget my teammates call
Every cheer brings happiness to my ear
But the touch of the leather ball
Oh just give me it all
There's so many sounds
But the one I like the best
Is the swish
Oh hearing and seeing the ball go through the net
The taste of the sweat
And the smell of popcorn in the stands
Just brings happiness to my hands.
