The stars light my path
And they guide my way
I traveled the world to see you
And today is the day
Your eyes stare through me
They’re emotionless pools
And they tell me nothing
But their made for fools
I beg for conversation
Something to keep us alive
And you don’t entertain me
No matter how hard I strive
My love for you never fades
Even though I know you’re depthless
I’ll try to rekindle
This untruthful mess
I’ll try to push you away
Even though I took this trip
And I’ll tell you to spend your time
On someone else’s sinking ship
