Fingers grab green grass

Trees sway with the wind

You change color

You're bright and vibrant

Green peaks through

yellow and dull

Nothing to show

On the ground

Were water and snow

walk over you

Breath escapes your lips

Some people say water 

Holds memories forever

Just like minds

But some things slips through the cracks

Slithers like a snake through the jungle

Water never stops flowing

Life never stops going

I stare at the ceiling

Stars stare back at me

Heart is pounding

Hands are shaking 

The world is spinning

The deers are falling

The words are daring

The school is draining

Breath escapes your lips 

Does anything have a script?

This feeling, like a pit

Makes me sick

But leaves grow back

Water never stops

Wind always moves

My mother approves

Breath escapes lips

Go out with friends

Seems like life will never end 

Lend happiness 

It feels like sappiness

Ha ha ha

This is living

Right?

Spending time with the ones you love

Even if you are doing something dumb

I find the small joys

And I live for them

Does that sound dumb?

Should I live for the big things

Live to help people

Live to provide

Live to die

Or just live to do them all

Live to hurt

Live to cry

Live to scream

Live your life

Because even though its sappy

And it may be crappy

Lifes supposed to be happy

Scratch your hands on woodchips

Scrap your shins on concrete 

Bloody elbows from falling bikes

Take a hike

Stop and smell every flower

Embrace their power

Jump off towers

Never cower

Let light in 

Reflect the dark 

You will always make a mark
