Favorite Quote:
"In this world, wherever there is light, there are always shadows. As long as there is a concept of victors, the vanquished will also exist. The selfish desire for peace gives rise to war. And hatred is born in order to protect love."

The air trickles like a majestic waterfall

Rain falling like a dancer

Prancing and prancing toward the ground

Forever dancing to the earth

Smiles lift so high

For whenever people hear my song

They gather and sing along

I may be dark and dreary

But the light after is ever so cheery

For in my moment of dreary

Creatures of all sizes stay

To sing along with me too

With peace of mind

And peace of soul

My rain brings love and kindness to the soul

For I am Rain and I am home

The author's comments:

My name is Chace Murphy and I am a young aspired writer who is trying to convey my work and show the world that writing is beautiful. This poem is about a personified storm who gives this calm and melancholy feeling when it is talking about its feelings and how it makes others feel.
