The sun is setting and I'm painting my nails
this color that's not quite green
and not quite blue because
I want the chance to be a nine year old girl again
please
I didn't do this right the first time around
I promise I can be better
I want to scrape my knees
and not peel it til it scars
I want to eat Skittles and brownies
and take my little feet off the scale
that's not where they belong
I want to scream Taylor swift
I don't want to set things on fire anymore
I want to be nine again
if I just had one more chance
I swear I'd do it right
