i watched three cars total in separate wrecks
i watched the cars and the birds but
the best that I've seen from my
bedroom window is myself not leaving at

to see a boy who gave me nothing
the best I've seen is an empty street
the best I've seen is my own heartbeat
struggling it's way home
it's good to know the best I've seen
was never to see you but
to see me
