Favorite Quote:
"Be like a flower, survive the rain but use it to grow."

Turmoils of anxiety flickers its fuel into coils

These never ending cycles, filled with desperation

Ignites flames into the dark patches of red and dusty blue

Polluted smiles that hover below the sky cannot balance within a lie

The turbulence isn't always right

It’s no breeze watching the stars erase from our minds

Trapped in a clock wired habit of life

Watching the minutes as they go by

Leaving us to watch the shreds of different times

Cripple in defeat

The author's comments:

The effects of climate change have been catastrophic to our Earth. The World Health Organization even refers to climate change as the “single biggest health threat facing humanity”. My poem “A Paper Airplane” is inspired by the effects that climate change has on our world. I hope this poem can inspire everyone to take action in helping to protect our planet.
