Shoot, score, do some more
The crowd roars while I play the game I adore
My body soars while flying on the floor
The adrenaline rush, runs through my veins
Come on girls, run your lanes!
The ball glides through the air leaving my fingertips
Swish
The ball connects with the net
Get up on her, she’s a threat
Defense clap clap defense
The time is ticking down
Players on the ground
But then
The sound of the buzzer whines down
Fans on the edge of their seat
Trying to cheer for there team to beat
Will we defeat?
