writing definitely is its own type of art

She can't draw. 

Or maybe she just doesn't.

But either side of the coin, when she holds a brush in her hand, her fingers die.

They feel constricted, manipulated, used.

So she picks up a pen and tries to relax.

Ink flows and feels smooth like butter against paper.

Her hand starts to cramp but she does not rest.

She burns words off the press day and night, trying to find that perfect phrasing.

Maybe some artists feel this way when they paint.

She doesn't.

She only feels this way when she is enshrouded in a labyrinth of words.

I can't draw, but when I write, it just feels natural. It flows. Shoutout to any artists out there! Art is so hard! Good for you.
