Open Plaines
Spring air and sweet flower buds
The sun was bright and the bird chirped
Headed to the open plaines
Stepping out onto the gravel road
Rocks crushed beneath my feet
Seeing the bright blue sky
Wind started pushing
But if the birds could fly, then I could walk
I was playing with a monarch
I was carefree and spirited
I was riding down the dirt road
I was only what I needed to be
I was everything I wanted
