she’d be healthy if she ate a little
pretty if she combed her hair
smart if she focused in her classes
nicer if she didn’t glare
they’d befriend her if she didn’t curse
smile at her if she wasn’t shy
want her if she changed her wardrobe
like her if she didn’t lie
he doesn’t need to eat a little
doesn’t need to comb his hair
doesn’t focus in his classes
and yet nobody cares
they befriend him even though he curses
they don’t judge him so he isn’t shy
he’s never even changed his wardrobe
and still he gives me butterflies
why?
