"I was born very far from where I'm supposed to be. So, I guess I'm on my way home."

I don't know my name
my life is just your pointless game
and I rant in rhyme and rhythm
but all my words imprisoned

Burn these pages like Salem Witches
with sparks and cheers and murder
tear the binding by the stitches
Burn these pages like the witches

If you burn this book will I too burn?
Am I tethered to it like an urn
of my ashes, is the ink my very blood
Burnt pages back to ashes and my dust back to mud

Burn these pages like Salem Witches
with tears of pain of lost knowledge
scatter the ashes in the ditches
Burn these pages like Salem Witches

Would you be so cruel to kill me with my art
or kind enough to let me restart
maybe I would rather be left for dead
than lose these words, I'd lose my head

Burn these pages like Salem Witches
with stench and trial and public scorn
with riot and fire and tar pitches
Burn me with the witches

The universe must be a teenage girl. So much darkness, so many stars.
