My tune sold away by the darkness, had enough in store

That his green eyes could hold

Diamonds could never shine as dark as his soul

Which forever belongs to me

That girl next door, she maybe had more

Of ever the sweet tune of innocence

Cuter to him, a thorn to me

I had what it took to remove

Locked up away in a dark room

That cute, pretty and happy girl

Is now no more

The once orange sunshine cherry

All that made her pretty and merry

The perfect face that saw her cry

Knows nothing at all

He now sees her in silk every night

When the moon goes grey

“All is same as before but

What happened to her gaze?”

You’ll always crave for more

But never know the truth

The perfect girl you loved before

Is now no more

The poem is full of positivity and encourages not to let go however difficult the situation might be.
