A Loud World

The world gets loud
And then it spins
Time speeds up
And yet slows down
My hands
Instinctively go to my face
My legs
Crumple with the weight
My breath’s pace goes faster
Faster
My eyes go
Dark
Nothing is wrong
Nothing is right
And all I want
Is someone to
Shield me
Block out the loud mess
But no one comes
I am alone in a strange place
This is a panic attack
Or atleast
One for me
It happens more on weekends
When I am alone with my thoughts

Darkness
Has a cold embrace

I get frequent panic attacks. No one can tell, but I certainly can. It affects small things. Paying attention, balance, and the uncontrollable tears.
