Jealousy is Truck

Jealousy is a truck.
It can drive you places.
And if you happen to have bad luck,
That truck can drive you to hurt familiar faces.
Jealousy is toxic like gasoline,
envy is as loud and harsh as an engine.
Insecurity is the fuel for this monstrous machine,
powerful like headlights, blinding you with adrenaline.
Jealousy has to be controlled with the steering wheel,
you have to reflect over the truck mirrors.
Look past the tinted windows, allow yourself to feel,
happiness for others, fix your errors.
Jealousy is a truck.
Let go of it, prevent getting stuck.
