O’ great Conductor

Of the cricket’s chirp

The rodent’s chitter

And the carrier of sound.

Lift your arms in tandem to nature’s symphony

And bestow upon me your teachings.

Your force commands,

O great Conductor,

So much so that the leaves of the great oaks

Tremble in your presence.

They fall into the whistle of the wind

And then collect to blanket the curling roots.

Your arms sway

In the melody of the breeze

And strum your lyre

In harmony with your symphony.

I exist here in your encompassing musicality

As you count in the coming of Winter.

@Bumble_Bee Autumn is my favorite! And I think either this one or Winter was my favorite to write, but I think this first stanza in particular has to be my favorite. (Have you figured out the hidden meaning yet? :D)

This is great!! I love how you started it! But I must ask, what's your favorite season? Your words are so lovely, I'll be honest, I don't have a guess about which season you like the most. The way your words flow is amazing. Love it!! <33
