Runaway
I feel broken
Unfixable, and replaceable
I thought of running
I thought of hiding
But another thought
Kept me away from doing so
I act fine
I act like everything's swell
When on the inside,
Not everything's good enough
The tears they swell
And fill the wells
When I'm about to explode
I pack my things
Spread my wings
And fly away from home
Up above,
they feel my pain,
and then it starts to rain,
Cars drive by,
And pigeons fly,
They never suspect a thing,
Just a teenager walking in the rain,
But a stranger pulls my shoulder,
And I flung back,
To see a familiar face,
Someone I knew,
Before I flew,
And came into the rain,
It was my sister,
Although from another mister,
Our relationship never parts,
And now from the beginning,
and to the end.
our worlds will never part,

This was a point of view from a charecter in a story I wrote. Their name was Amelie, and she was struggling with herself, self discovery, and being positive. She was going to run away one night, when a stranger stopped her from making a regrettable choice. I made this to tell you, if you try, everything's worth it. It may be hard and difficult, and harder to take than the wrong path. So please, choose the right path <3
