Dark
The blackness fills the room
but the silence makes my head wonder.
As a lie in bed
I wonder about the things waiting in the shadows.
The feeling of loneliness consumes me.
The darkness looks endless
and the hope for light seems unreachable.
The hope of a saving grace feels almost impossible.
When everything spins
and overwhelming thoughts consume you
just stop.
Stop and breathe
remember that one day
there will be light
and there will be happiness.
