To reach the fruit, one must climb the tree.
To reach the peak, one must hike the mountain.
If one desires to achieve a goal,
be it small or too big to whoa;
commitment is key,
like the worker ant we all should be.

Perseverance mixed with determination, and
cleverness mixed with temerity;
all encourages the person to advance -
cheering them on as it jubilantly dance.
From howling winds came rough tides,
adamantly blowing itself to the shore.

Like thunder crashing down, proudly booming,
the occasional storm abounds. Knocking
us down the pedestal stair -
hissing with malice in the air.
Yet we stood back up against the odd
tall and defiant like an iron rod.
