why am i so sad?

i’m not sad that you left
everyone leaves me
i’m not sad that we don't talk
at least i’ll get a “hey” some days
i’m not sad that we won’t be the same
although i do think about you
i’m sad because you lied to me
you told me you’d never leave
but you did
and now we are strangers with memories
