Every Day
Today I am here and I live in fear, fear of hate, guns, and violence
Every day another shooting
Every day another person is killed due to gun violence
Every day the news, just a different face, and a new place
Nothing ever changes
Today I am here and I live in fear, fear of hate, guns, and violence
#metoo this and #blacklivesmatter that, none of it means anything, it doesn’t matter what we say or do, they will never change anything
But it can change if we start a revolution to change the constitution
If we speak up every day, one by one we will make a spark and it will burst into a flames
It will start to happen day by day, gun reform will save the day
Every day the news is always the same
There is always a shooting somewhere, and people giving thoughts and prayers
But that’s not enough to change the big things
Americans everywhere speak up for what’s right
So we can start a revolution to change the constitution
Today I am here and I live in fear, fear of hate, guns, and tears

This came to me the day after the Parkland shooting. It broke my heart to see those kids in that situation. Then it occurred to me gun lovers will never change and it is up to young people to make the world a better place
