Fire your bullets,

Take your best shot,

Hit me hit me,

With all you got.

No matter the pain,

I'll stay on my feet,

Forever strong,

Send your fleet.

Flight or fight,

It's up to you,

But just know,

I won't shatter nor shake.

I've been hurt,

For to long,

Now I stand ready and strong.

The author's comments:

This talks about how when you feel stronger than ever, no bullet no pain can break you. Basically this is for the people that think my poems are to sad. Please leave a comment!

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

(a girl named lydias body was also found in the illinois river thingy. same inscription. police traced the murders to fate. they are still unsure why she didnt just kill them with her fate powers. also, because shes fate, they were unable to jail her. the killer is still on the lose.)

uh... also you typoed. im sure you realized.
but im pretty sure Amor is the spanish word for love? which is about the oppisite of what youre trying to convey.
also, Koto wouldnt be happy. she might get violent... ever been smashed over the head with a harp before? if not, be glad shes fictional! ... ...is she watching? 0_0... uhh hehheh.... koto, my, that harp looks heavy... ow-!
(Dawn was later found dead with a bloody indent in her head and cut into her skin the words 'dont mess with the harp'. the police are still puzzleing over her death, but as of yet only one other body with a simalliar describtion has been found, somewhere in kentucky, with a simallier wound and inscription.)

Your poems are not "too sad." Who has the right to pass judgement like that on something written from the heart? I hate it when people use words like "too depressing," "morbid," or "navel-gazing." If a writer is being negative, there must be a reason behind it. Don't write cheerful things to hide your feelings. Writing is supposed to be a release--don't let anyone judge your work if it came from your heart.
