Anger and Forgiveness

April 27, 2021
By Anonymous

Anger slithers through your bones stemming from pain

It sneaks through attempting to sink its Deadly teeth into ur veins

The demeaning comment or action from a friend or foe

Sets off the spiteful Snake that continues to grow

Gliding through the grass that flows from your hair

Anger is lurking and always there

Waiting for a signal to pounce on its prey

The snake Pushes past limits and makes its way

It moves past your logic and stops for nothing

A need for Revenge causes anger’s venomous body to start hunting

It finds its victim and plans the cruel Attack

But the rock that is Forgiveness stops the snake and makes it travel back
