Some of Us Don't Make It Past The Sadness
Some of Us Don't Make It Past The Sadness
I truly feel bad for the ones suffering from sadness, the ones who lack compassion
Whatever the cause is, you need strength in the face of pain, courage
It's so easy to get discouraged, especially in the spur of a moment
We see pain as an opponent, a fight with no light
That's why resilience is so important, its rare
The ability to bounce back from difficult life events
How many of us can say we can
I can't
It's hard to control your soul
Let alone when it feels like a deep dark hole
And honestly if you have that strength, then you can probably go the extra length
and say you've survived one hell of a ride
