If life were predictable it would cease to be life, and be without flavor.

Love is a sacrifice, they say

So, she believed it to be true.

She gave her heart and soul to him

And yet nothing grew.

His torments pierced her pure heart

And his actions affected her world.

And so, the flower destined to bloom

Remained still a bud.

She was warned by others

And yet she unheard them.

For her soul loved him immensely

And her heart ached for his presence.

Despite everything, she never got

His love but still she remained mum.

She cried in silence

So, she could be seen by none.

It was heart-wrenching and soul-shattering

To see her sufferance.

But she couldn’t be helped by anyone

Until she breaks her silence.

World seemed a lot more alien

And so, she did not let her be heard.

Hence, the flower destined to bloom

Remained a bud.

"It Will Be Good." (complicated semi-spiritual emotional story.)

"Upon his bench the pieces lay
As if an artwork on display
Of gears and hands
And wire-thin bands
That glisten in dim candle play." -Janice T., Clockwork[love that poem, dont know why, im not steampunk]

cool story, you should do a sequel(does she commit suicide? does she heal?)

The universe must be a teenage girl. So much darkness, so many stars.
--me

The last two lines are the most powerful. On the other hand, these two lines- But she couldn't be helped by anyone until she breaks her silence-need a bit of editing. What a heartbreakingly sad poem.
