clasped,
sealed together, two
hearts
beating
racing
one pulse after
the other, a
drummer losing
control
of his hands, then
slowing
gently to
a pianist
playing a soothing lullaby.
shoulder to cheek
arm to waist
the wax figures melt
at the
warmth of sheer touch,
becoming one of
many colors,
marvelous yet shapeless
on the floor,
adoration spilling beyond
containment
