For I could never fight;

     The truth burns within me. Ablaze

For I travel through out the night

     It tears at me through this haze--

To the Darkness I go forth

     Quiet, yet it screams at me;

To a fate, uncertain, much like the north

     Pins, pricking, ever-so gently.

Ablaze the Love

     Ablaze the Shove

Unsure, and unknown, I seek to find the impossible

     The Bright-Burned I wish to find

The Hopeless and The Lost, feeling almost metaphorical

     Because oh how so pointless is this Bind.

Dark, oh how so Dark,

     Oh how unfeasible is its color--

Oh how worth it, is this Spark

     But how so toxic is its culture

The Love is ever Ablaze

     The Shove will ever be Ablaze

And finally, I feel it

     This will extract such a heavy toll

I can feel it's grit

     There's no going back now, might as well slide down this pole

The feeling is like no other

     But is somehow, the same as any other

The Love is Toxic

     It's Shove ever Ablaze

     Ablaze is my Life. Ablaze

The author's comments:

This my first piece published at Teen Ink so I hope it gets published. I believe that this poem can be taken several different ways and it is up to reader to figure out what it means to them.
