I am a rose
I am a dying rose.
My mental health expressed heavily in each withering petal.
My insecurities and painful memories protrude as thorns,
That protects me from being plucked by those who see my hidden beauty.
But sometimes a wanderer sees a beaten rose,
And snips it from the roots of instability it once held too.
I begin to decay.
They give me soil to find comfort in,
watering me with love and tending to me with support.
Their hearts warmer than the sun.
I bloom bigger and stronger than ever before.
I am a thriving rose.

An expression of just how alike humans and nature can be. We both fall to the same fate but sometimes someone saves us from decaying sooner.
