Grandpa
Her eys are black
Her body feels empty
She feels almost numb
She knows someone is calling her name
She can’t make out who it is
The voice sounds familiar
She’s heard it a lot
But she can’t put a face to it or a name
The voice said “hola mi reina”
No one calls her that except for her gandpa
She turned around no one was there
But it still made her happy
Her grandpa
Had been dead for alost a year
Not a day goes by that she doesn’t think of him
Now she knows her watching over her
