Medicine
they say an empty bottle takes a life,
but what if its the end of the month,
your staring down the orange bottle,
wondering how you got here
they say I need it,
that its important,
if you dont take pills your life will not be ok,
you will keep being in this place,
this place of darkness and hurt
you will feel better soon,
the sleepiness will come,
you might feel dizzy,
but you will be ok
I sit here and wonder,
will it be okay?
or is the medicine here to stay.
