What I mean by alone is
Being surrounded by people
But only wanting to see you
Searching through the crowd
Looking for your eyes
But heart sinking when they are gone
Listening to our friends say your name
Pretending that it doesn’t crush me
But your name is so painful I cry
Laying in bed at night
Wishing your arms were around me
But waking up from a dream without you
What I mean by alone is
Being surrounded by people
But only wanting to see you
