Phenomenal Me
A masterpiece, yet a work in progress
People wonder how I handle being both so graciously
But when I start to tell them, they think I'm telling lies.
It's within my drive, the way I thrive
I'm like the Queen Bee, the most powerful in the hive
From the way I can switch it up con mis palabras
To the fire that ignites inside once I'm armed with pen and paper
The female Picasso of our day, with words.
I am phenomenal indeed.
Phenomenal me.

I wrote this in English class for a project where we had to remake Maya Angelou's "Phenomenal Woman". Instead, I decide to entitle it "Phenomenal Me" and write about how Phenomenal of an individual I am.
