Middle School
Lots of boys.
Every couple of weeks
there'd be a new one.
None of the relationships
ever lasted more than
a couple weeks.
Sadness.
That depressed feeling,
that you aren't worth it,
or nobody cares.
The feeling of wanting to be loved,
or more of the need to feel loved.
Lots of boys and sadness.
Three years went by,
times needed to change.
The person needed a switch-up,
get away from middle school,
and start getting ready for a new beginning.
