Life as a Whole
Sometimes, I wait for my life to click into place
and put on a brave face.
I expect life to run to me
but, in that respect I have to be more carefree.
Sometimes I stare off into space,
for life is so fast-paced.
I am already sixteen,
there are so many more things to be seen.
Sometimes, I find life hard to embrace,
like a big, long staircase.
Life is supposed to be hard,
otherwise it would be blank as an unwritten thank you card.
Sometimes I realize I need to come to life,
without any strife.
