Back straight
Smile on
You have to be perfect
Everyone is whispering that into my ear
Clothes clean and pressed
Hair straight
Make-up done
Heels on
But it’s not who I am
I am who everyone wants me to be
What they expect me to be
But it’s not me
A princess
The one who wears the crown
The one who who gives the speeches
The one who rules
I would give it all up
But the next heir
Wouldn’t do it for the people
So I’m stuck being perfect
