Since you've been so busy of late

And running out of time

To escape my friendship outbreaks,

Worry thou not anymore

For the cure is discovered,

Tonight this shall end

Without a possible recover .

Do not worry anymore mine friend,

For you shall no longer be troubled again.

I shall from now on withhold

My jar of emotions

From ruthlessly overflowing onto the grounds

Of thy overdone heart.

Tonight shall be the one last time

That my name would deliberately become again

A part of your unnoticed notification light.

Cheers to the memories we've had together,

During the times when emotions did matter.

But since now you're restlessly engaged

In socialising with the world built on glassy frames,

I can again always understand,

Why I'm being left ignored

Because there's no other option

You've left for me honey,

Rather than to accept 

That I was never even close to enough,

The mere thought breaks me everyday.

But be careful mine friend,

For these glasses are abominably cold.

Though you hug them, they'll prick in you deep,

Even if they break down into pieces, they won't let you live in peace !

Ok, Ignore me but please watch your footsteps dearie,

Be cautious atleast!

And since our friendship has transitioned into an era

Where the two deadly parallel dimensions of hope and ignorance finally meet,

I do wish to punctuate a full stop

To the tale you had left years back

At the then horrible comma stage

And hilariously I had always believed it was a careless mistake,

But dear, our friendship was whailing in silence

Until today's date;

For it has grown  weaker than ever,

Being too weak to even utter words of speech,

And therefore I do wish to put an end 

To this ' not-happily-ever-after ' tale !

I swear I shall ne'er again become a part of your daily trouble,

No good morning texts,

No friendship goal memes will ever

Be sidelined under my name

Appearing inside your phone's cover.

Do not worry again mine dearest friend

For I shall never request you to have a meet

Of even half an hour.

You'll never again need to spend thy time 

In explaining your trouble.

And here , I'm sorry

For I know I must wind up

This unworthy tale of scribbled letters

Engraved with scarred emotions of mine,

For I know these value as much as an old useless ship wreck

For the heart the body carries of thine.

Again I know not why this must end

For our tale had had the greatest start,

I rub my eyes in utter despair

At the sight of this broken tale

Falling into fragments,

At the footstep of a strong pause.

I do wish to bid good-bye

To thy notification light.

For it was the only companion of mine

Providing me hope,

Causing my constant unfulfilled delight.

I hope I do not cause you any trouble thereafter

And sincerely apologise

For the waste of your invaluable hour,

Spent in analysing the blueprint of this unworthy heart's emotional tower.

And finally ! Our forever has arrived,

I'm surprised for I'd never thought

Forever would be just a matter of this much time

Today, I stand before you

Like a non-cultivable barren ground,

Bidding good-bye for the one last time.
