Magic Trick Lover

Anyone I have ever loved has had to be a magician
Because just when feelings start to form they disappear
Wa-La! just like that
I am the cards in the hat that never got pulled out
Because everyone wants to see the flying doves and the bunny rabbit.
I am the helper that doesn't get any recognition
Because no one seems to notice the show can't go on without them.
I am more of the trick than magic
I am the missing piece to the show
The answer that no one knows
The truth that the magic trick doesn't want you to see.
