you are my heart
maybe i’m not sure what love is
the deep kind, where it follows
you in everything you do
but i crave it
that sweet, silent intimacy
and the simplicity of my hand in yours
i want to lay side by
side, the faceless you and me
running my fingers up and down
you arm - contact
just the idea of staring
off into a sunrise with
you, faceless you, makes
my heart feel full
and my chest as warm as
a mug of fresh coffee.
my heart swells up
about to burst
whenever i think of
you, faceless you, and
the warmth of
coffee for two.
